Wooden Salad Bowl

Made out of a single chunk of wood, this wonderfully curvaceous – and super stylish! – salad bowl reminds me a bit of the work of Andrew Early from the Midlands in KZN, who also always sculpts his works from single pieces of wood. But I’m fairly certain that this bowl isn’t one of their pieces – the patina of the wood makes me think that it has some age to it, and the flatness of the base (which for some reason, I find very satisfying!), isn’t really their style. Whoever made it though was a true artisan – this is a seriously beautiful bowl, that I was sorely tempted to hold onto!
