This vintage wooden harp is definitely one of the slightly more bizarre objects I’ve bought, but I loved how quirky it was, and also that I had never seen one before. Sadly it’s not in the best nick and is missing one of its strings, but to the untrained ear it still sounds very pretty – although truth be told, my lack of musicality goes way beyond ‘untrained’- just ask poor Justin who has to listen to me sing on the odd occasion! So I don’t think in its current state anyone’s going to make a professional career out of playing this Citara Mini Harpa, but for a child who’s interested in music, this would probably be a great gift – and one that surely has to be less painful on the ears than some of the modern musical toys you can buy!
Note: There are quite a few instructional videos for the Citara Harp online, but unfortunately most of them are in Portuguese!
