Vintage Pedal Bin

I haven’t sold too many rubbish bins (although clearly I’m on a roll – two in two days!), but of all the bins that I’ve sold, this vintage Krost ‘Hygeinette’ pedal bin has to be the coolest by far! It’s in fantastic condition for its years, with only a few minor scratches and some surface corrosion to the ‘pedal’. It’s metal inner is in excellent nick, and the mechanism that lifts the lid is in perfect working order. I love the colour (which is ever so slightly more orange than it appears in the photos) – it looks a bit like an old British post box!

A fantastic piece that would work well in any kitchen as a general rubbish bin, or use it as an extra bin for recycling your glass.
