Vintage Leather Handbag

It’s a bit odd how much I love vintage handbags given how few handbags I own personally! But I really do get quite excited when I see a stylish vintage bag, particularly when it’s made from leather, like today’s fabulous red purse! This is quite an unusual bag in that it’s not lined, but that just makes it easier to see the quality of the leather, which looks pretty decent to me. I really like how simple this design is – straight up and down, with a plain metal handle. There’s a pattern stitched onto the front of the bag, but not the back – properly minimalist! Unfortunately there is a small stain and some minor wear to the handles, but I don’t think that any of the wear is particularly noticeable.

A great purse that you could dress up or down, depending on the occasion.
