Vintage Indola Table Fan

I was fascinated by the name of this fan when I first bought it—’Indola‘—it almost has a bit of African ring to it doesn’t it? But a quick Google search and I quickly found out that it was a Dutch brand, which I have to say makes a lot more sense! I bought it not knowing whether it was working or not—something Justin moans at me about: invariably the things I bring home aren’t working, which means that poor Justin spends his precious downtime in the garage bent over broken Mint appliances! Poor chap! But luckily for Justin this beautiful Indola fan seems to be in excellent working order—in fact, it’s probably one of the quietest vintage fans I’ve come across! Both of the speeds work, as does the oscillating function. Obviously there are some cosmetic issues, with a fair bit of wear to the paint, and the metal guard a bit bent out of shape, but for its age I think it’s in remarkably decent condition!

A wonderful vintage piece that I’m certain you’ll be glad you bought when the steamy days of summer return (I kind of wish they were on their way already!).
