Vintage Hendlers Bread Bin

I don’t know what it is, but add a bit of writing to vintage kitchen enamel, and it doubles its desirability! I especially like the style of the old block lettering that’s been used on today’s Hendlers bread bin – super handsome! Because of its age though, our bread bin does have some fairly obvious signs of wear, but the inside is nice and clean, so there are no hygiene issues, and the wear actually gives the bin a nice patina!

P.S. I’m not sure how well it shows up in the photographs, but this bread bin is quite an unusual colour – a kind of rusty orangey-red….
