Vintage Hand-Painted Ashtray

I’ve always thought that this style of painting was found specifically on Venetian glass, but after a bit of research I’ve seen the same style referred to as Japanese and Czechoslovakian glass, so who knows! I can tell you that it’s got a bit of age to it, which you’re starting to see on the painted flowers and the gilt detail, but the glass itself is in excellent condition, and even with the minor wear it’s still a very attractive (and reasonably priced) ashtray!
