Vintage Electric Heater

We missed the last day of winter to show off our vintage heater, and thankfully Joburg does seem to have turned a corner with the weather warming up considerably over the past week, but there’s always next year! I love the unusual style of this American-made Western Auto ‘Wizard’ heater. In most respects it’s your standard bar heater, but then there are small details that take it to another level completely – like that super curvey base, and the way the metal guard is moulded into the sides of the heater – really quite special!

A beautifully made appliance, that all these years seems to still be in excellent working order!
