Vintage Child’s Breakfast Set

R240.00

Bizarrely I can’t find any real information on this wonderful ‘Noah’s Ark’ child’s breakfast set. Going on the maker’s mark it looks like it dates to sometime around the mid 1950s, as the crown stamp was first used by British Anchor in 1954, but that’s about it in terms of its history. It’s a great set though, isn’t it, and in pretty decent nick! There’s some light wear to the transfer, as well as a bit of discolouration to the bowl (which unfortunately doesn’t show up in the photos) but there’s no actual damage per se.

A wonderful christening or birthday gift for a little boy or girl – although it would make an equally wonderful gift for a grown boy or girl who’s into their vintage pottery!

Dimensions: Teacup – 7.5cm tall x 8.5cm in diameter; Saucer – 14.5cm in diameter; Bowl – 4cm tall x 16cm in diameter
