Vintage Ceramic Jug

I really like the contrast of the very retro ‘Rialto‘ pattern with the rather classical shape of this Grindley jug. I also like the fact that it’s a shape that you might associate with a smaller milk jug, but this is pretty much a full sized jug – almost the size that you’d expect for a water jug. There are one or two minor marks on the inside of the jug, but otherwise it’s pretty clean, especially given that it’s in the region of 60 years old!
