There’s no maker’s mark on this vintage cast-iron skillet, but it is does bear a striking resemblance to the Le Creuset version of this pan isn’t it? Regardless of who made it it’s a good quality piece of cookware – it would have to be to survive the years worth of abuse that it’s obviously taken – it’s not in what you’d call mint condition! But even though it has plenty of battle scars, it’s still a very handsome and completely functional pan. Plus we’ve given it a seriously good scrub, so while it may not look all new and shiny you can be sure that’s it’s clean enough to eat off – literally!
