Vintage ‘Bone’ Vases (Each)

I know this style of vase as a bone or knogle (‘bone’ in Danish) vase, but I see some people also refer to it as a Jack in the Pulpit, which personally I think refers to the slightly more flowery style of vase. These fabulous bud vases were made by a number of Scandi glass makers, most notably Holmegaard (Denmark) and Aseda (Sweden), and are generally referred to as mid-century glass, making this pair in the region of sixty years old. Given their age it’s not surprising that they have the odd scratch, and that the bases are quite scuffed (which is almost what you want to see with old glass), but on the whole they’re in good nick, and their vibrant red glass, and those wonderful bubbles mean that the vases still make for a striking pair!

Dimensions: Each vase 22.5cm tall x 6.5cm in diameter
