These glasses-lidded jars are probably my favourite of the Ball designs, primarily because you don’t see them very often, but also because they’re so beautiful – all glass, and all curves! The clasp on the medium sized jar is quite rusted, but a bit of wear is to be expected with jars of this age, and it’s still perfectly functional.
A lovely set of jars that will be the stars of your collection!
Note: The smallest jar dates to between 1923 and 1933, with the larger jars being made sometime between 1933 and 1962 – most likely towards the earlier of these dates
Dimensions: Large jar – 19cm tall x 10cm in diameter (across lid); Medium jar – 18.5cm tall x 8cm in diameter (across lid); Small jar -14cm tall x 8cm in diameter (across lid)
