This lovely little mirror is probably from the more or less the same time as the beveled art deco mirrors that you see, it’s just not quite the same quality. It’s a bit smaller than these mirrors normally are, and not having a beveled edge, the actual glass is a bit thinner too. And there’s obviously some proper wear to the mirror which is nicely tarnished – for me mirrors are a bit like enamelware – where normally I like things to be as clean as possible, with mirrors and pieces of vintage enamel I’m not really bothered how worn they are!
A nice piece to add to a collection of vintage mirrors, or to hang above a basin in a (very small!) guest loo.
Dimensions: 39cm wide x 30.5cm tall x 1cm deep
