This is a rather unusual little Scottie dog – the previous owner and I were discussing what he might have been used for, and we settled on a paperweight, with the wee tray being used to hold something like paperclips – an office Scottie! I didn’t have any paperclips to try out, but he seems to work well with for jewellery, so that’s also an idea maybe. There’s a bit of corrosion to the metal, most notably in the little round dish, and he looks to be handmade, so is quite roughly put together, but still quite delightful!
