Retro Wooden Radio

R340.00

I find most vintage radios quite attractive, but today’s example is particularly handsome! It was manufactured in 1969 by Fidelity Radio Ltd., who had their head offices in North Kensington, in London. Being fifty years old our radio does have some signs of wear – the wood (which is still so beautiful!) could probably do with a light sand and varnish, and there are a few scratches to the metal as well, but importantly the radio’s in good working order! It takes a nine volt battery, which unfortunately we don’t have in our arsenal, but Justin tested the radio in his workshop, and  I’m happy to report that it’s working just fine! And you can buy nine volt batteries from most shops, so that won’t be an issue.

A really great looking vintage radio, in good working order.
