This really is an interesting little table – when I bought it it was in a bit of a sorry state, and after sanding it down we realised that that the legs and the table top are made of completely different woods. Whoever made it had obviously stained the legs to match the top, and I suppose we could have done the same, but I quite like the contrast! Justin used this table as an exercise to train Kabelo, the gentleman who does all of the carpentry work for Mint, and between the two of them I think they did a great job! This table was clearly made in someone’s garage back in the day, so there’s no getting away from the fact that it’s quite naively constructed, but at least now it has a nice smooth finish.
A quirky little table that will work really well in a contemporary setting.
Note: This table is quite petite – please pay attention to the dimensions.
