My photos definitely don’t do justice to the wonderful turquoise glaze of this British Vogue Moderne gravy boat – it really is quite fabulous! As is the shape – the angle of the handle, and the squareness of the saucer, give the set a distinctly retro feel. Unfortunately because of its age there are some signs of wear, most noticeably to the saucer which has a few stains. The boat itself is unmarked, but does have quite a bit of crazing. But none of that detracts from what a handsome gravy boat this is – I promise that whoever buys this set will be most delighted by it!
