Retro German Wall Clock

I must admit, I don’t know anything about the history of this retro wall clock, having never come across the name Remington before. I was surprised though to see that it was made in Germany – Remington sounds like such an English name, doesn’t it? But when you look closely at the clock, it makes complete sense that it’s German – it’s a much better quality finish than most of the clocks that you see in this style, and it seems to keep perfect time – which is exactly what you would expect from a German timepiece!

Note: Overall the clock is in good condition, but the top of the plastic case is slightly warped – it almost looks like it’s been exposed to heat, although I’m not sure how that would have happened! Also please note that the clock case is dark brown – I’m not sure how well the colour shows up in the photos…..
