Retro German Electric Clock

This retro Jakob Palmtag wall clock is definitely one of the more unusual timepieces that we’ve sold on Mint! I bought it because I love the unusual design, with that brass frame and suspended black clock face, but being German it’s probably also a pretty decent clock mechanism, so should keep good time. On the downside though this is an electric clock so will need to be plugged into a wall socket. It also makes quite an obvious buzzing sound as the second hand moves around, which should be fine for a room with ambient noise like a lounge or dining room, but I definitely wouldn’t have it in my bedroom!

A really interesting clock that will make for a great statement piece.

NB: Because the clock is designed with its hands exposed we can only sell it to buyers in Johannesburg who are able to collect
