For some people the fact that these Frystark chairs aren’t an exact match is going to be an issue, but for others, like me, it’s one of the main reasons I like them so much!! I think it makes them so much more interesting – I love the way the style has been adapted to present two almost matching, but quite different pieces. My favourite of the two is the chair without the arms – I think it has such great lines. It’s also the piece that looks like it’s been through a small fire – don’t ask me how, but the only damage was to the arms. The damage is obviously quite noticeable in the photos, but less so in real life, although even when you can see it, it doesn’t really bother me too much – I even think it gives the chair a bit of life, like it has a story to tell. The springs on the chairs are not as tight as they could be, so you do sink into the armchairs a bit, but I suppose they are in the region of fifty years old, so they’re never going to perfect!
