Retro Cooking Pots (Each)

I’m pretty sure that I’ve never come across the brand Meyer before, which is strange as according to their website they’re one of the largest manufacturers of quality cookware in the world! The business was started in 1951 by the Cheng family, who initially manufactured an eclectic assortment of goods such as torches and ashtrays. In 1971 they decided to specialise in cookware – which looking at the style of today’s pots and pans is probably more or less when this set was made (give or take a few years). None of the pots have been used before – in fact we had to assemble the lids ourselves! – so there’s no wear to speak of, but while they’re neat as a pin, and are teflon coated, I don’t think they’re the best quality pots being quite light? For the money though they’re probably a pretty decent investment, plus they’re very attractive – I love the shape of the handles on the large pot, and the classic ’70s (possibly ’80s?) floral design is just fabulous!

Note: For some reason the lid on the smallest saucepan is slightly ill fitting

Unfortunately we’re in away in Durban at the moment, so aren’t able to provide dimensions for this item
