This is a classic retro bookshelf – it has the angled sides, the brass angled handles, and even space for a few records – you don’t get more retro than that! In fact if you were prepared to sacrifice the back you could even drill a small hole for a cord and use the widest shelf for your record player and amp (provided your record player’s not too large – see measurements below). But if you’re more of a bibliophile than an audiophile it also makes for a great bookcase/slash display cabinet. We’ve sanded the wood down, but there was already a bit of damage to the veneer which we couldn’t really do anything about. You’ll notice the damage if you look for it, but I think once you’ve ‘dressed’ the bookcase it’ll be a lot less noticeable, and aside from the bit of wear shown in the photos I think we’ve actually done a pretty decent job!
NB: For sale in Joburg only
