How great are these retro framed prints?! I wish I knew who the artist was, but I did a fair amount of hunting online with no real results, so I’m afraid I can’t really tell you anything about who’s responsible for these great designs. I do know that the prints have got some age to them though – all cleaned up and in new frames they almost look like they were produced yesterday, but the original frames and mounts showed that they were made sometime back – my guess would be either 1960s, or the 1980s. I know that the two decades are world’s apart design-wise, but in my opinion, it could be either one.
The prints are a fair bit pricier than we normally sell artworks for, but we’ve had them professionally framed, and if you’ve had anything framed recently you’ll know how crazy expensive it is! But I think they’re worth it just for the prints themselves – they’re great pieces of art (at least I think they are) that will easily fit in with a contemporary scheme, and if you were to try to buy something similar from a gallery today, you’d be spending way more than this!
