Portmeirion Totem Coffee Pot

R100.00

When I bought this P0rtmeiron coffee pot the lid was taped down to prevent it breaking when someone lifted the coffee pot. I asked the seller if the lid was damaged at all, and he insisted that it wasn’t. I really don’t think he realised (at least I hope he didn’t!) that the lid wasn’t actually original. When I took the lid off when I got home, I immediately realised that something was amiss, as the inside of the lid wasn’t glazed. Of course as soon as I realised that it became immediately clear to me that the lid didn’t belong, but I’m embarrassed to say that prior to that I hadn’t noticed that anything was wrong – I put it down to how excited I get when I spot something I like – and I more than like this retro Totem  design! But because of the (now) glaring issue I’m selling this coffee pot on for my cost price. I know that most collectors out there won’t be interested, but perhaps somebody can still appreciate what a beautiful job Susan Williams-Ellis did with this fabulous 1960s pattern!
