Today’s Digidater may just be the coolest perpetual calendar we’ve ever come across! It was made by Airguide, and includes both a calendar (which you change manually) and a thermometer, which I’m happy to report is in good working order! Airguide started out in 1930 as the Fee & Stemwedel Company, changing their name to the Airguide Instrument Company in 1956. They specialised in barometers and thermometers for the home market, with today’s version, no. 317, obviously being designed as a desk accessory – sooooo cool!

The little plastic (possibly Japanese?) calendar is obviously much less sophisticated, being made of plastic case with dials to adjust the date. There’s nothing fancy about it, but it will still make a great feature for your desk!

Dimensions: Airguide Digidater – 20cm long x 7cm wide x 3.5cm tall; Plastic desk calendar – 11cm long x 5cm wide x 5cm tall
