It’s a strange thing to be passionate about, but I have such a love for this National blender that I’ve been holding onto for the last two months despite the fact that the pink clashes terribly with our green kitchen! Years ago I had a National blender, and it was the bomb! When Justin and I moved in together he convinced me to part with it, and I’ve regretted it ever since! Which is why it’s so hard for me to part with this one, and even though the pink really doesn’t go with our decor, I just love it!!! It’s also in great condition for its years, with the only real wear being scuff marks to the plastic lid, and a bit of corrosion to the knobs. It even has its original manual – how mad is that? And if you’re busy rushing around the kitchen it also has a timer function, which means that you can leave it to do its job while you carry on with other tasks.
A most lovely and hard working machine – if our kitchen walls were white, it would be mine, all mine!!
P.S. I suspect that the price of R37,50 that’s written on the instruction manual is the price that the original owner paid for the blender!
