I love the style of this vintage Moulinex mincer! Given the fact that the rest of it’s made of plastic you’d be forgiven for thinking that the wooden stick you use to push the meat in with isn’t original, but it is! There are quite a few of these mincers for sale online (they sell for around $80), and they all have the same wooden stick! In later years Moulinex changed to a plastic stick, which although probably makes a lot more sense, isn’t nearly as cool! Given its age (I think it probably dates to around the 1950s) the machine’s in pretty decent nick, but I think it’s missing a switch to turn it on and off – at the moment you have to use the plug at the wall. Fortunately though the missing switch doesn’t shout out at you, and bar the box which is a bit tired (wouldn’t you be after all those years?), the mincer’s nice and clean
A nice little machine in good working order. Perfect for mincing your dog food or making home-made sossy!
