I love how wonderfully kitsch these vintage biscuit tins are! They were made for Weston Biscuits, a biscuit factory that opened its doors in Springs in 1947, and from what I can gather traded under the same name until the 1970s. Looking at the style of these tins I’d guess that they date to the late 1960s or early ’70s – and I have to say they’re in pretty decent nick for their 50 or so years! I love the combination of the turquoise and gold paint, and the fact that they’re so large, and so clean, makes them real winners in my books!
Dimensions: Each tin measures 28cm in diameter x 14cm deep
