They may be very plain to look at, but isn’t that what Scandinavian style is so famous for – minimalism that achieves more with less. Personally I love these mid-century bowls that were manufactured by Arabia, a Finnish company that produced top quality kitchenware in the 1950s and ’60s. The white bowl has no maker’s mark, but the deeper navy blue bowl is stamped Finel, the enamelware division of Arabia. Both of these bowls are in excellent nick – there are a few scuff marks on the underside of the bowls, but that’s about it in terms of wear and tear.
A highly collectible and fantastic quality pair of enamel bowls.
