This vintage brass planter is surprisingly light when you pick it up, but you’re not buying it for its scrap metal value, but rather its fabulous style! I’m a big fan of this planter – in fact I was sorely tempted to hold onto it. I even walked around the house trying to find an empty spot for it, but alas our house is chockablock! The only space I could potentially see was behind the front door, which really would be a waste for such a fabulous piece! I love the beaten metal look, the rotund shape, and those wonderful retro handles! We decided not to polish it, knowing that because of its size whoever bought it wouldn’t manage to keep up with the admin of keeping it shiny, plus I rather like it the way it looks as it is.
A wonderful planter for the very fashionable rubber tree (thanks Phil for the intro!) or a voluminous bird’s nest fern.
