Over the years we’ve been lucky enough to find a decent number of vintage Ball jars, but the jars that we normally find are quite a bit smaller than today’s more unusual, elongated versions. Not only does their size make them a bit more special (although to my mind, all Ball jars are winners!), but the specific Ball logo dates them to between 1910 and 1923 – these be some seriously old kitchen jars! It’s not surprising then that the milk glass lining on the one jar is cracked, and that the lids are slightly worse for wear – I still think that their condition is pretty remarkable if you think about the fact that they’re going on for 100 years!
A very special, but also completely practical and quite beautiful pair of glass jars that will serve you well in your kitchen.
Dimensions: Each jar measures 25cm tall x 10.5cm in diameter
