It’s pretty hard to find an ugly art deco light fitting, but some are definitely more impressive than others, and this ball pendant light is up there with some of the nicer ones I’ve seen. It’s probably the size which distinguishes it from your more run of the milll lights: the glass is a bit larger than your standard ball light, and the chrome fitting slightly more bulky. The pattern’s also slightly different with a bit of a geometric vibe to it, although the colours are your classic cream with silvery-gold detailing. The glass is in excellent condition, with only very minor wear to the pattern, but the chrome pole is quite tarnished in places, as to be expected with something of this age. The wear’s not so bad that you’d really notice it once the light is hanging though, and if you just give it an occasional dust it should stay relatively shiny for a good few years to come!
Dimensions: Glass ball measures approx. 24cm in diameter; Pole measures 43cm long ; Total length of light (glass ball & pole): 67cm long
