Japanese Recipe Box

R150.00

The Japanese really do make some fantastically quirky items! They have a particular flavour of kitsch that I’m automatically drawn to, and that for some reason I find pretty easy to identify – although strangely I can’t tell you what it is that makes them easy to spot? So I wasn’t at all surprised to see a ‘Japan’ stamp on the back of this wonderful recipe tin – it made complete sense in terms of their aesthetic! I love the classic floral pattern of this recipe box, and the colour scheme has a distinctly late ’60s/early ’70s feel to it. Luckily the box is in really good nick, and the recipe cards inside are unused!

Hang it on your kitchen wall, or display it on your kitchen shelf and start collecting recipes – you’ll have a family heirloom in no time at all!
