It’s been a little while since we had one of these Danish Scanglobes for sale. Today’s version, which dates to the mid 1980s, lights up beautifully, and as is typical with Scanglobes has a pointer that allows you to pinpoint specific coordinates on the map. The only downside to our globe is that the digital clock isn’t working – I replaced the battery but sadly that didn’t sort the issue out, which means that you won’t be able to use the world clock that forms the base of the globe. It’s not the end of the world though (silly pun, I know!) – it will still make for a very handsome – and educational – night light, perfect for a child’s bedroom.
