Some people might look at this cruet set and see something quite old fashioned, but to me the Hornsea Heirloom pattern has a super modern look to it, and when it was designed in 1967, I’m pretty sure it was just that! I’ve always loved the name of the pattern – I think it’s quite audacious – presuming that you’ve designed something that will stand the test of time! But it has, hasn’t it? And while S&P shakers might be a bit dated, the fact that these chaps have wooden lids somehow makes them a bit more contemporary in feel. And how delightful are the little jars – perfect for some pressed olive oil and balsamic vinegar to accompany your dinner!
P.S. We still have a set of Hornsea spice jars for sale
Dimensions: S&P set – each shaker measures 4.5cm in diameter x 7cm high; Vinaigrette bottles – 7cm in diameter x 9.5cm high
