I love these vintage German Hohner harmonica’s – they’re so beautifully made, and always come in the most delightful boxes! Today’s model is extra special as it can be played on both sides (key of C/G), which is why it’s maybe called an ‘Echo Harp‘. Most sites seem to date the harmonica to the 1950s, but it seems that Hohner are still making this exact model today – wanitall.co.za currently have it on sale for a crazy R3000 (marked down from R3900) – but their prices are always a bit nuts!
Note: For the most part both the box and the harmonica are in good condition, but there are one or two dings in the metal (see photos), which luckily don’t seem to effect the sound at all
