Hendlers Bread Bin

I bought this Hendlers bread bin at a collectibles auction (see, even antique dealers recognise the value of retro these days!), but I’m pretty sure that it came out of an old shop that has since closed down. It still has a paper sticker on the underside, and bar one serious dent, it’s in too good a nick to have ever sat in anyone’s kitchen. You’ll probably find that because of the damage it was taken off the shop floor and shoved into storage somewhere, which is why it’s still in nearly new condition. Sadly though it does have that one ding, and the paint has chipped where the dent is, but luckily it’s right on the top of the bin, towards the back, so if you sit it against the kitchen wall (which is where most bread bins sit) you’re not likely to notice the damage as much.

A handsome ’70s style bread bin in good nick for its years.
