I really like the unusual shape of this vase, which is why I bought it. It’s not the finest piece of glass – while it’s quite nicely finished along its rim, there are some streaks in the glass which makes me think that it’s not the finest quality piece of glass, although I could well be wrong! There’s so much to know about glass that even after all these years my knowledge is sadly quite poor! So I bought this vase for what’s in my opinion the best reason – not because it’s a fancy name (although that would be nice wouldn’t it?), but instead because I think it’s rather handsome!
