Greek Espresso Cups & Saucers (Set)

R140.00

I’m pretty sure that this set of espresso cups & saucers were bought at a museum tourist shop when someone was on holiday in Greece many moons ago, but I quite like them, even if they’re not made by a well-known pottery house. I like the fact that they’re in mint condition—they were in their original, but horribly kitsch box when I found them, so I’m pretty sure they’ve never been used before. The pattern, which I assume is a reproduction from some porcelain discovered on an archeological dig in Rhodes, is printed onto the cups and saucers, and although quite delicate, I don’t think they’re the best quality. But they’re still very cool, and would be great for serving your guests espressos after dinner – if they young enough to be able to drink coffee after four in the afternoon, without it keeping them awake all night!.

Dimensions: Cups – 4.5cm tall x 4.5cm in diameter; Saucers – 10cm in diameter
