This framed vintage print of Fabriola by French 19th Century painter Jean-Jacques Henner is part of a collection of mirrors and pictures that I’m putting up on Mint over the next few weeks. Sadly most of the items are in a rather sorry state, so my idea is that rather than hang them alone, where their wear will be all the more conspicuous, arrange them in a group, so that what you notice is the overall impact, rather than single frames. That being said if you don’t mind the worn look then by all means put a spotlight on them!
This print is one of my favouirtes – despite having a seriously decrepit frame, and some wear to the print itself. I still really love it, because I love the composition so much! It’s also a pretty good print with a texture almost of an original, and printed onto what looks like fairly old board, so its got a bit of age to it – no wonder it’s a bit worse for wear!
Dimensions: 56cm tall x 43cm wide x 4cm deep
NB: We’re overseas until the 14th July, so unfortunately there will be a delay in posting/couriering items until we’re back
