Ever-Hot Teapot

Aren’t these Ever-hot teapots just glorious? Super handsome and as practical as a teapot gets with its built-in cosy and beautifully curved spout that I’m pretty sure pours better than most modern teapots. The outside of this original Ever-hot teapot is in excellent condition – the beaten chrome case is nice and shiny, and the porcelain is pretty much unmarked, but the inside of the teapot is starting to show its age. The felt lining is a bit worse for wear (although still completely functional) and if you take the lid off, and remove the strainer, you’ll see that there’s some stained crazing. Fortunately though, it doesn’t really matter too much because it’s not something your guests will ever see!
