It looks like Mint is getting into sanware (a real ‘Jack of all trades’) – this is the second enamel washbasin that we’ve had for sale in just a few short months! This is probably an easier basin to fit into an existing kitchen because of its size, and the fact that it has its fittings – drain, waste pipe – it even has the remnants of the sealer from when it was last installed! We didn’t bother to scrape it off because Justin seemed to think it would help cushion the basin when it’s fitted. It’s an Italian basin and dates to the late ’80s – I know this because it still has its original manufacturing sticker on its underside! There are a few chips in the enamelware, but they add a bit of character, and on the whole it’s not in bad nick. I like the stainless steel drain fitting, and its placement, which is slightly off-centre.
A nice piece for an interior designer, or someone who’s about to start renovating their kitchen or art studio.
