Double Enamel Sink

R550.00

I have a seriously rubbish memory, so sometimes can’t quite remember whether I’ve sold something before, or if it’s the first time that I’m listing an item, but I know with 100% certainty that I’ve never sold a kitchen sink before! I mean, why would I buy a sink – yet I did! How could I resist when it’s such an unusual sink? For starters it’s enamel, which isn’t something that you see very often these days, yet the style of the sink is quite modern? The gentleman that I bought it from said that it came out of an old house – he does demolitions, and sometimes buys the fittings before the houses are demolished, so in theory it’s got a bit of age to it, yet it doesn’t look like it’s been used very much? A bit of a strange one really! But who cares when it’s so attractive! It’s a double basin with a middle area for rinsing. the size of the holes for the drains look like they would fit those modern pop-up wastes which is handy, and the guy that I bought it from told me that you can buy a ‘blank’ from the plumbing store to cover up whichever tap hole you choose not to use. When I bought the sink I thought that we might be able to use it in our kitchen which we’re busy renovating, but sadly it didn’t fit the metal frame that we had already had made up – had it fitted I so would have held onto it – I’m pretty sure no other house is going to have a sink quite as cool as this one!
