You can’t help but fall in love with these Danish wall plaques – especially given that they’re all about love! Designed by Bjørn Wiinblad for Nymolle in the 1950s (and produced right through to the ’90s), these ‘calendar’ plaques tell the story of a young couple courting over the course of a year, from when they first meet in January until they have their baby in December! Wiinblad’s primary occupation was that of an illustrator, which makes complete sense when you look at his wonderfully quirky designs – aren’t they just delightful? The plaques that we have for sale today are January, May, June, July and September – obviously I wish that we had the complete set, but just to find these was a real win!
Note: All of the plaques have a little rubber stopper filling the hole where you would hang the plaque, bar one. Two of the plaques are also slightly greyer in colour than the rest
Dimensions: Each plaque measures 15cm in diameter x 0.5cm deep
