I have to start with that Tala egg slicer – it’s the sharpest (and most bling!) egg slicer I’ve ever come across – and it’s in near mint condition!! This is the ultimate kitchen accessory when it comes to slicing those hard boiled eggs! And then there’s the lovely Tala egg rack, not in nearly as good a condition, but an unusual piece, and nicely branded. The rolling pin isn’t Tala, but it matches the green of the egg rack so well, that it wouldn’t have been surprising to find a Tala stamp on it somewhere (but sadly we didn’t. And finally the Consol canning jars – I like them, well because they’re vintage kitchen jars, but also because of their size. These smaller jars aren’t nearly as common as the larger versions, and as with most things in life, the rarer the jar the more desirable it is!
