It amazes me how many people don’t not only own an egg slicer, but don’t even seem to know what one is – bizarre! Especially considering how useful they are, and these vintage metal versions with their skinny wires seem to work even better than the plastic one that you can buy today. The Willow kitchen measure with its conversion table is probably also a super useful item to have around the kitchen, especially if you’re an avid baker, as would the flour sieve be – nothing worse than clumpy flour! And if you’ve got kids you can’t really go wrong with a jelly mould, or this eneency weency Fire-King measuring jug that would be great for when your little one wants to help with the baking! Finally there are the fish moulds – the one’s a bit bent out of shape (they’re made from quite a delicate metal – tin maybe?), but not terribly so – I’m sure they’d still do a fine job of shaping your salmon terrine, or alternative hang them on your kitchen wall for a super kitsch bit of vintage decor!
