Collectible Rosenthal Display Plates (Each)

These are without a doubt the most expensive (and possibly the most beautiful!) plates that we’ve ever had for sale on Mint! We’re selling them on behalf of a friend, and to give them a fighting chance, we haven’t actually put a mark-up on them. The plates, which were designed by Rosenthal to be displayed – never used! – were part of a series of op-art designs, with the German porcelain factory collaborating with various artists. The purple and gold water lilies plate is by French artist, Alain Le Foll, with the wonderful floral ‘Gold Marguerites’ being designed by Mauritian-born artist, Rosamunde Nairac. Both pieces were produced in the 1970s, and are marked with the printed signatures of the respective artists.

These plates may be fairly pricey in relation to the china that we normally sell, but they really are outstanding pieces of art, and in my opinion, well worth splashing out on!

P.S. Please pay attention to the dimensions below – these plates are quite sizeable

Dimensions: Each plates measures approx. 30.5cm long x 30cm wide x 4.5cm deep
