I’ve been holding onto these fantastic Targetti Sankey spotlights for years now, not quite able to sell them, yet never knowing what I’d do with them – until we moved to Joburg that is! I had five of these lights in total: three that went with a ceiling mounted track, and these two, which are designed to fix straight onto the ceiling or wall. The track versions are now proudly on display in our kitchen (so I feel justified having held onto them for so long), which means that I can now part with the remaining two without shedding any tears! Both of the lights are in excellent condition with only minor pitting to the chrome balls, but the one light is missing its plastic mount (the bit that you attach to the wall/ceiling, and then to the light). I’m sure that an innovative electrician would be able to make a plan though – a small metal bracket would do the job just fine, and given how handsome they are (and hard to come by), I think they’re probably more than worth the effort!
P.S. I know R750 seems like a lot, but at R375 a light it’s actually not bad – click here to see the crazy prices that vintage Targetti lights sell for!
Dimensions: Each light measures approx. 17cm in diameter x 27cm long (incl. base)
