Why is it that little things are so sweet – just the fact that these wooden chairs are about a quarter of the size that we used to seeing them, makes them so much cooler! They were made from repurposed floor boards (by someone else, not us) – we’ve just sanded the wood down, so that’s a bit smoother. The chairs are still pretty rustic, although they’re also very sturdy, so at least you know little Kate or Tom isn’t going to land on their bums!
The chalk board is also pretty great! When I first spotted it I thought there was a chance that it had a bit of age to it, but on closer inspection I realised that it was quite modern, and had also been adapted from an easel to a blackboard – someone’s painted it with blackboard paint (rather shoddily). It could probably do with another coat of paint, but it’s still perfectly functional as it is.
Dimensions: Each chairs measures approx. – 50cm tall x 23cm wide x 24cm deep; Blackboard – 108cm tall x 54.5
